| Looking for advice on external blu-ray burning drives |

So I'm considering purchasing a blu-ray burning BD-ROM drive. (An external one, so I could use it with desktop or laptop.) I've reached the point where I start to realize that DVDs just don't look all that great on my computer monitor anymore, and there are some movies that I want to buy and keep (or even just rent) in a high-resolution format that would look nice on my computer monitor—or on the new HDTV that I talked my parents into getting a few weeks ago.
The problem is, I just don't know all that much about these drives. I've looked at them on NewEgg and a lot of them look pretty good, but the question is which one I really want.
I have a question up about it on Quora, though it hasn't gotten any answers yet. If anyone has any opinions, I'd love to hear them. |
